Although this list was compiled as a “Best of” list for 2013 by QSR Magazine, a well respected trade resource for the quick service restaurant industry, I believe many of these fast growing concepts will be viable and top franchising options for entrepreneurs in 2014 to consider as well.
Some of these concepts are still relatively new to the industry like Tin Drum AsiaCafé, and some are very well established like Jersey Mike’s Subs and Papa Johns. Overall I think its a well rounded and diverse list (burgers, Asian, pizza, Mexican food, subs, etc.) of fast casual restaurant brands that have good growth potential and average unit sales volumes ranging from $500k to $1.7m.
