Monitoring Services

Midwestern Locale to Serve as Launch Pad for Long-term Strategic
Expansion
DEER PARK, NY (July 1, 2008) - Vehicle Tracking Solutions (VTS),
a leading provider of automatic vehicle location and fleet
monitoring solutions, today announced the opening of its new
Dallas/Ft. Worth corporate office that will enable the company
to better serve the needs of the fast-growing Midwestern market.
Industry expert Quin Waddell has been named VP of Sales for the
Western Region and will lead the new office.
"With fuel prices on the rise, more and more companies are
coming to realize the potential savings that can result from
monitoring their fleet to better manage fuel consumption and
labor costs, boost productivity and improve operational
efficiency," said John M. Cunningham Jr., president of Vehicle
Tracking Solutions. "We've seen tremendous growth in the market
over the past year and the Midwestern region, the Texas market
in particular, is leading that growth."
Expansion into the Dallas/Ft. Worth area will allow VTS to
better meet the needs of clients west of the Mississippi and
serve as a launching ground for the company's long-term
strategic expansion goals. The new office will also provide
corporate support for the VTS franchise in Austin. VTS is the
only company in the Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) industry to
offer franchise opportunities, with several new prospects in
position to acquire VTS franchises.
Waddell joins VTS from a leading global wireless hardware design
and development organization where, as Director of M2M Sales, he
drove M2M/Machine to Machine and Vehicle Location device
solutions and sales. Under Waddell's leadership, sales revenue
increased more than 300% in a four year period through partner
development of the distribution/reseller channel. During this
time he worked with hundreds of AVL companies, small businesses
and corporate organizations to assist them in meeting their
business and client objectives to increase productivity, manage
assets and accomplish the fastest ROI possible.
Waddell has 20 years of experience in sales/sales management and
consulting, having worked with organizations ranging from small
private organizations to Fortune 500 companies. His experience
and ability to meet business and sales objectives will be a
valuable addition to the Vehicle Tracking Solutions
organization.
"I've developed a great relationship with the entire team at VTS,
as well as many clients, and I am looking forward to this
opportunity to lead the company's expansion into this strategic
market," Waddell said.
"Quin has been a trusted supplier and a key part of our growth
to this point," Cunningham said. "It's a natural fit that he
would come on board to help continue that growth, and we are
pleased to have him on our team."
VTS customers report an average of 11% to 13% fuel cost savings
with the implementation of a VTS system. In addition to fuel
costs, VTS customers can also minimize overtime costs and lower
insurance premiums, as well as realize improved service or
delivery efficiencies - all factors that result in a fast return
on investment.
VTS provides multiple monitoring options that allow customers to
view fleet status and track moving vehicles in real-time with
its FleetMinder® and VTS WebViewT services, and even check
vehicle status via a web-enabled cell phone with VTS Mobile.
