Star Franchise Systems, Inc.
Announces “hot new” concept for 2007
January 9, 2007 – Orlando, Florida
Star Franchise Systems, Inc. the creators of 2 Scoops Café,
has launched its second food franchise concept ‘Salsa 2 Go’,
a Mexican inspired on the go kiosk station that can be set
up at corporate offices, city events, farmers markets and so
much more. The Station is a totally self contained unit that
can be set up in less than 10 minutes, offering great
tasting chicken and beef nachos and their amazing salsa with
chips. “This has been years in the making, our salsa is
truly the best anywhere, and once you try it you are totally
hooked and can’t stop eating it,” states founder Maryann
Kilgallon. The salsa is an old family recipe, “ I have lived
in 5 different cities and all of my neighbors and friends
were always begging me to make it for their parties or
special events” states Maryann. The response has been so
positive that franchisees
were already lined up before the ink was dry on the contract
agreement. Facts show that Mexican food is the fastest
growing food segment in QSR history. “We truly see this
taking off like wildfire, not only do we have a awesome
product that is loved by kids and adults, we have a business
concept that has been well thought out “ states Maryann.
The low cost investment of this franchise is very appealing
to entrepreneurs who would like to work part time and spend
more time with family. The total cost is estimated at under
$15,000 and this includes the franchise fee of $5,500. All
of the franchisees will go through training
at ‘Salsa University’ in Orlando to cover all aspects of
business ownership. This makes Florida and the entire south
a great launching pad due to the warmer climate year round
for outdoor events. The company is currently awarding single
unit and Master Franchises in Florida.
