Austin, Texas-
San Antonio, Texas and Huntsville, Alabama are the sites of the
first two independently-operated franchise branches for House of
Tutors. Kush and Anjuli Patel (in San Antonio) and Arnold and
Carolyn Bray (in Huntsville) are both husband and wife teams who
have paired up with the Austin-based company to offer its
accredited brand of individualized tutoring and test prep in their
own communities.
Company
president, Hussain Malik, says "We feel fortunate to be a part of
such rewarding work, and are excited to expand the scope of those
rewards with these new franchises." The Patels and Brays
successfully underwent intensive training, and continue to be
supported from the company’s Austin headquarters. Vice President
Anjum Malik is confident in their future success: “Our first
franchisees brought a commitment to education and a passion for
helping others. We’re sure these attributes will help them grow
their businesses and are thrilled to have them on our team. We
can’t wait to add even more members to the family.”
In business since 1980, House of Tutors has enabled thousands of
school and university students to meet and surpass their personal
goals and achieve academic success. The total outcome of the
company's academic and social preparation is holistic, by way
of higher grades, learning and time management skills, positive
thinking, and inculcating a high level of self confidence with
which the student can attain life goals and contribute to society.
The
Learning Center prepares students
on a personal, face to face basis, in small groups or on-line, in
a range of subjects from Algebra to Zoology.
