Promotes Larry Lane to President; Founder
Gary Salomon Is Chairman and CEO
CARROLLTON, Texas, March 13, 2006 — FASTSIGNS International,
Inc., a sign and graphics franchisor with nearly 500 locations
worldwide, announced that longtime senior vice president Larry
Lane has been promoted to president. Company co-founder Gary
Salomon, who previously served as president, remains the
company’s chairman and chief executive officer.
The company, which is the international franchisor of FASTSIGNS®
centers, is now in its 21st year. Corporate headquarters are in
Carrollton, Texas, and centers are located in the United States,
Canada, Mexico, Brazil, the United Kingdom and Australia (where
locations operate under the SIGNWAVE® name).
Lane has been with FASTSIGNS International, Inc. since 1988,
when he opened and supported some of the company’s first
centers. After serving as director of operations and heading up
the company’s international and domestic franchise development,
he most recently was the senior vice president of franchise
relations and development. In that role, he has overseen
domestic and international sales, domestic real estate and store
construction. He has also managed relations with the FASTSIGNS®
Franchisee Advisory Committee (FAC), and been responsible for
franchisee compliance-related issues.

important it is to constantly create value for the business,”
said Salomon, in announcing Lane’s promotion. “He is exactly the
right person to ensure a smooth and effective transition as we
take the company to the next level.”
Lane’s background prior to joining FASTSIGNS International, Inc.
includes experience with both the sales and technical facets of
a multi-unit business operation.
