LDQ Launches Innovative Barbecue
& Blues Dining and Entertainment Concept Nationwide Charlotte,
North Carolina –
LDQ, LLC, announces the nationwide
launch of The Little Dooey Barbeque & Blues franchise program for
the development and expansion of The Little Dooey restaurant
concept in major metropolitan and suburban areas. This new ‘fine
dining meets casual comfort’ restaurant and entertainment concept
pairs an exclusive menu of high-quality barbeque, catfish and
desserts with a unique, comfortable, blues-themed atmosphere.
Entrees are inspired by proven family recipes using only the
freshest ingredients and sauces to create one-of-a-kind meals. The
creative blend of entertainment and cuisine makes The Little Dooey
the perfect place to mingle with friends, family and co-workers.
The Little Dooey originated in Starkville, Mississippi in 1985,
and has become the most popular barbeque destination in eastern
Mississippi, attracting guests from all over the country. Over the
years, the restaurant has achieved numerous accolades and awards
for its signature sauces and slow-cooked dishes, including several
features in The Food Network’s “Best Of…” series. Founders Barry
and Margaret Ann Wood credit the success of The Little Dooey to
their family, friends and dedicated staff. In response to growing
demand to franchise The Little Dooey on a national basis, LDQ
plans to roll-out the first franchised restaurant in Concord,
North Carolina in early 2006, with an additional 10 restaurants
projected to open by the end of 2006.
LDQ is seeking franchisees
and regional developers with demonstrated restaurant industry
experience to own and operate full and limited service The Little
Dooey restaurants. The restaurant design features unique
structural concepts including outdoor terrace dining, mezzanine
seating for private parties, and an exterior look that replicates
historical Beale Street in Memphis. Interior décor will capture
the musical energy of the ‘Memphis Blues’ with related
memorabilia, photographs and artwork inspired by blues musicians.
